Practical AI skills, learned by doing.

Discentik’s mission is to make practical AI learning accessible and useful. Through guided courses, people practise real prompts, create meaningful documents and build confidence they can carry into study, work and everyday life.

How Discentik was born

  1. The starting point

Discentik began in September 2025 as my final-year project at Queen’s University Belfast. I designed and developed the platform around a question: how can people learn to work with AI through practice?

  2. The gap

I wanted to address a gap in multidisciplinary AI training: practical learning that connects AI to the different ways people work across fields such as finance, construction, healthcare, law and education. The idea was to combine guided courses with a familiar chat interface, so learners could practise prompts in their own professional context, reflect on feedback and improve their work.

  3. Recognition

The project was awarded 77 points. Professor John Bustard was my project supervisor and mentor, supporting the journey from idea to platform.

  4. Becoming a product

After the university project, I began turning Discentik into a product for learners, instructors and organisations, while keeping practical learning at the centre: writing prompts, working on documents and building confidence through guided practice and feedback.

  5. Now · Early access

Discentik is currently in early access. We’re working hard to add meaningful courses and make every part of the experience reliable, useful and ready before the official release.
