Organisation Terms
These terms apply when an organisation uses Discentik for its team. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and include the data-processing terms required by data-protection law.

Who is responsible for what
Your organisation decides why its team members use Discentik and how their learning records are used, so it is the controller of that personal data. Discentik, operated by DISCENTIK LEARNING LIMITED (CRO 827348, 65 Jameson's Orchard, Seamount Road, Malahide, Co. Dublin, K36 N803, Ireland), processes that data on your behalf to provide the service, as your processor.
Your instructions
We process your team’s personal data only to provide Discentik as described in our Terms of Service and Help Centre, and on your documented instructions. Using the service and choosing its settings are your instructions. We will tell you if we believe an instruction breaks data-protection law.
What data is covered
Team members’ account details, organisation roles, course assignments and progress, submitted work, AI conversations inside assigned courses, results, certificates and the reporting shown to your managers. Learners aged 16 or 17 may take part only as learners; school or pupil processing is not available under these terms.
Confidentiality and security
Everyone at Discentik who can access your data is bound by confidentiality. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it, including encryption in transit, access controls limited to what each role needs, and activity logging.
Service providers
We use the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, for example for hosting, databases, email, payments and AI processing, under written terms that protect your data at least as well as these terms. We update that list before adding or replacing a provider, and you may object for a legitimate data-protection reason.
Helping you meet your obligations
We help you respond to requests from team members exercising their data rights, keep data secure, and carry out impact assessments or consultations with a supervisory authority where the law requires it.
Personal data breaches
If we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your data, we notify you without undue delay and give you the information you need to meet your own obligations.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
When you stop using Discentik
When your organisation account closes, we delete or return your organisation’s personal data, at your choice, unless the law requires us to keep it. Purchase and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Information and audits
We make available the information needed to show that we meet these terms and allow reasonable audits, including inspections, by you or an auditor you appoint, with reasonable notice.
Your organisation’s responsibilities
You make sure you have a lawful basis to use Discentik for your team, tell team members how their data is used, invite only people who are allowed to join, and keep administrator access to the people who need it.
