Manage the course industry taxonomy

Authorised Platform owners and admins use Platform Admin → Taxonomy to curate the
shared industry choices available to course authors.

Use a short unique key, a clear learner-facing label, and sort order when creating or
editing an industry. Review the course count before archiving: archiving removes the
choice from new selections without erasing existing course assignments. Restore it
when authors should be able to select it again.

Every create, edit, archive, or restore checks the current record version and commits
with its Platform audit event. Refresh and compare the latest values after a conflict.
If a response is interrupted, retry the unchanged request; its request identifier
confirms the earlier result without duplicating the change.
