Course purchases, access and refunds

Course checkout is available to eligible residents of Ireland, Spain, the United States and Australia. It remains unavailable to United Kingdom residents until the separate UK
commercial release. No automatic location-based currency conversion is offered.

Adults may buy if their account, residence and course meet the displayed requirements.
A person aged 16–17 additionally needs an
active guardian authorisation specifically for that purchase purpose. Guardian
approval does not allow a person under 18 to create, publish or sell courses.

If checkout says the market or account is unavailable, no new payment was taken.
A checkout restriction does not stop normal receipt delivery or fulfilment of existing
purchases, and does not remove cancellation, refund or other consumer rights. Use
Contact if you need help with an existing order.

The legal operator for new contracts is DISCENTIK LEARNING LIMITED, registered
in Ireland with CRO number 827348, at 65 Jameson's Orchard, Seamount Road,
Malahide, Co. Dublin, K36 N803, Ireland. Discentik is the product name. Earlier
purchases keep their original supplier, accepted terms and rights. A company notice
does not itself transfer an earlier contract or replace its recorded operator.

Buying before you have an account

Select Buy now and review the course before continuing. If you are signed out,
Discentik keeps the selected course and coupon in a local return link while you create
an account or sign in. Account creation does not charge you. After authentication you
return to the same purchase review, where the current course price, coupon and account
eligibility are checked again before Stripe Checkout opens.

After a verified payment, access is activated automatically and Stripe returns you to
a dedicated confirmation screen for that order. It prepares the receipt and shows
exactly what you bought; this is durable purchase information, not a temporary pop-up
notification. Receipt delivery and the downloadable purchase record do not require a
second confirmation from you. From there you can open the course or view your full
purchase history.

Select Download receipt (PDF) to save a PDF you can open in a PDF reader. Its
filename includes the purchased course and purchase date. The first page summarises
the purchase; subsequent pages retain the terms accepted with that order.

If confirmation takes longer than expected, use Check again on the confirmation
screen or Refresh in purchase history. Discentik checks the payment with Stripe
before showing the receipt; the return link alone is not proof of payment. Do not buy
the course again while a payment is being checked. If it remains unavailable, contact
support with the order or payment reference, not your card details.

Open Profile → Purchase history to review retained purchase confirmations,
amounts, discounts, refund status and cancellation records. It is a dedicated
Profile section, separate from Records and requests.

Do not share the return link when it contains a coupon intended for a particular
audience. The link is convenient context, not proof of entitlement and not a reserved
price; the server remains the authority for every promotion and purchase.

Course promotions and coupons

When a course has a public sale, its list price is crossed out beside the current
promotional price. You can also enter a Discentik campaign coupon in the purchase review.
Public sales and coupons do not stack; Discentik applies the lower valid price and
records the list price, discount and amount charged in your purchase confirmation.
The purchase review shows this reminder only when you already applied one coupon and
then try another code. Applying a replacement code does not combine the two discounts.
A promotion applied to an existing Stripe Checkout session remains bound to that
session until it expires while the course purchase terms remain unchanged. Changing
the code or included AI balance requires a new checkout with the updated terms.

Individual course guarantee

You can request a full refund for an individual course within 30 calendar days of successful payment. Support reviews requests, including substantial consumption and repeated refund abuse. Completing a course or using AI alone does not automatically disqualify your request.

If a full refund is approved, Discentik absorbs the cost of included AI already used. Your course access and unspent AI balance from that purchase are removed. A refund does not replenish other balances.

Organisation purchases and personal top-ups

Organisation orders and AI top-ups are excluded from the voluntary individual-course guarantee. Contact support for case-by-case review. Personal AI top-ups are available to eligible accounts under their displayed terms.

After the verified payment update is processed, a partial refund reduces AI funding proportionally to the purchase's original allocation, based on the cumulative amount refunded. Already consumed AI usage remains recorded. Partial refunds do not automatically revoke access or seats; support must reconcile those separately.

How long course access lasts

Course access continues while the course remains available and your account remains eligible. Completion does not end access. Content withdrawal, moderation or account restrictions may affect availability. We do not promise unconditional lifetime access.

Included AI balance is finite and separate from access. Reading lessons, manual editing and reviewing saved work do not use it. See AI balance and usage.

Request a refund

1. Open Contact — refund request.

2. Include your order reference and describe the issue. Never include card details or passwords.

3. Support reviews the order and responds using the email address you provide.

Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method. Your payment provider determines when the refund appears; we do not promise a fixed bank-processing time.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by these voluntary policies. Starting a course or using AI is not an automatic waiver of those rights.
