Course access may have one canonical price in EUR, GBP, USD or AUD. Checkout is available
to eligible residents of Ireland, Spain, the United States and Australia. A paid course can also
include a finite AI balance to fund supported activities.

Where to check prices

Course pages show the price, access and included AI balance before payment. The
same balance description is carried into Stripe Checkout and the stored purchase
confirmation. United Kingdom checkout remains unavailable until its separate
commercial release.

For personal purchases in the United States, select your billing state before
continuing to Stripe. This also applies to personal AI-balance top-ups. Use the
same state in your Stripe billing address; your country comes from your account's
eligibility details, not from this selector.

How the amount is shown

Euro accounting shows AI balance in euros consistently across the course page,
checkout, purchase confirmation and account balance. The course price itself may use
another supported currency.

AI balance is a limited amount that funds supported AI features. A euro-denominated
balance is not cash, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and is not a payment-account
balance. Confirmed AI usage is recorded separately from the available balance.

Course and Organisation balances

A personal course purchase includes the AI balance advertised at checkout for that learner and course. An Organisation seat provides a separate balance for its assigned learner and course. These balances cannot fund other courses or another learner's work.

For new Organisation purchases, a seat can be reassigned before learning starts. Once learning starts it stays tied to that learner; removing and restoring access preserves the remaining balance and never refills it. Earlier orders retain their original terms. See seat policy.

Buy more AI balance (credits)

To add AI balance to your personal account:

1. Open Profile → AI usage.

2. Choose a top-up package, or enter a custom one-time amount from €5 to €100 in whole euros.

3. Review the terms shown, then continue to Stripe Checkout to pay.

The balance appears in your account once the payment is confirmed. Top-ups are one-time
purchases with no automatic reload. They are available to eligible personal accounts aged 16
or over in Ireland, Spain, the United States and Australia. If the option is missing or
checkout is unavailable, contact support.

Personal top-ups and Instructor work

Top-ups never fund Organisation assignments or Instructor workspaces.

Authoring, course generation and AI interactions in Test mode use the Instructor's eligible AI balance. They do not consume a learner's course balance. Monthly Instructor balances renew and expire according to the period shown.

Usage

AI work reserves balance before it starts. Confirmed usage is charged against the relevant balance, and any unused reservation is released. Check your available balance and usage history for the recorded amounts. A request may remain pending while its outcome is reconciled.

Reading lessons, manual editing and reviewing saved work do not consume AI balance. AI usage limits still apply. Course completion does not refill the balance or end course access.

Refunds

A full refund removes the unspent AI balance associated with that purchase and applicable access. Individual course refund requests have a 30-day voluntary window, subject to support review. Organisation purchases and top-ups are reviewed case by case. Partial refunds require support reconciliation. Read access and refund policy.
